Privacy Statement

Benchmark collects non-public personal information from the consumer, information about consumer’s transactions with us, information about the consumer’s transactions with nonaffiliated parties, and information from consumer reporting agencies.

Benchmark discloses to non-affiliated third parties:  Information we receive from members applications or other forms such as name, address and social security number.  Information about transactions with us such as account balance, payment or transaction history, or parties to transactions as permitted by law.  Information in this paragraph will be disclosed only to credit reporting agencies (routinely) or other financial institutions (with the consent of the member).

Benchmark discloses information to the following organizations:
* Financial service providers such as securities broker dealers, insurance companies or agents.
* Organizations with which we have signed a joint marketing agreement such as vehicle sales companies, whom we feel can provide beneficial and carefully selected products and services.
The information disclosed, to the organizations identified above, will be limited to name and address and provided only to organizations with whom we have marketing agreements which prohibit these organizations from further disclosing the information supplied to them.
The Credit Union may disclose information necessary to complete a transaction if a member chooses to purchase or use the product or services solicited under the joint marketing agreement.

We will disclose information to courts or other governmental agencies as required by law.
To payroll departments as necessary in order to establish or change Direct Deposits or Payroll Deductions with the prior consent of the member.
To third party processors in order to complete transactions authorized by the member such as printers and credit card and ATM processors.
SECTION 29
Benchmark will provide all members the opportunity to remove themselves from all lists provided to non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
Benchmark will maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with regulations to guard your non-public personal information.  Access of this information will be restricted to those employees that need to know in order to provide products or services.
Benchmark does not disclose information regarding non-member transactions such as checks cashed, cash advances obtained, bond redemptions, any similar transactions or as a result of use of our machines except as required by law.
